About Me

I'm a married, practicing, non-denominational Christian mother of 2 boys and a girl. My life experiences have taken me through the Black Baptist church, an independent Church of God in Christ church, an independent Assemblies of God church, and a few charismatic non-denominational churches. My heart has always been to seek God in His fullest form. Not a big fan of being religious and conforming to a set of rules dictated by man, I enjoy relationship with the Creator, who directs and challenges me using the Bible and every day circumstances in life.

I am an educator. I tell my husband I can't help it. If I died and went to Heaven today I'd be on a proverbial cloud teaching the cherubim how to effectively shine their halos...it's just in me. I taught in the inner - city for 14 years at various schools with mainly the same population with 85-100% of students qualifying for free or reduced lunch in typical urban neighborhoods. My heart was to be the hand of Jesus to those He came to save. I know biblical truth and godly wisdom are key to life's success, but my concern was that these children were being robbed of the basic fundamentals. My life's mission had become helping people fulfill their dreams through positive choices.

I am still driven in this area, but now I am educating my children at home. It's just what we're led to do right now. Listening to God's voice for next steps always, we choose to pursue their education using this method at this time.

Reason for blogging:

My husband kept telling me that I needed to take the discoveries I was sharing with him and share them with others. I also love to write. Combining these two ideas, I decided to start a blog. So, here is where I share the concepts I believe God is teaching me. Please read and enjoy. I am hoping and praying that it helps anyone who visits.
