Yeah! She's here. I'm a Mom again. It seems like only yesterday I was carefully monitoring my diet, being mindful of sleep habits, and taking it easy on the heavy lifting. Now we have a sweet bundle of God's love right here in front of us. God's provision and sovereignty are ever increasingly visible each day.
Of course, there are some rough nights where sleep escapes me. There are some tough days when I'm not so sure what she needs exactly and I have to troubleshoot. With my youngest being 6 years old I forgot how much the very little ones need us to be right there most of the time. Setting aside my own interests and household chores and duties to nurture and entertain her can be challenging, but ultimately a great blessing and lots of fun. I'm glad to be a Mom living for God again. My hope is to be effective in my parenting and for her and my sons to know they are deeply loved.
